Finland is the first country in the world to publish its own set of country themed emojis. The Finland Emoji collection contains 56 tongue-in-cheek emotions. These emojis are part of the Christmas calendar published by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs on ThisisFINLAND, the country brand website.
Simply install the application and you’ll have access to 56 Finnish emojis.
New in this update/release are: The flag of the Åland Islands, a semi-autonomous part of Finland located between Sweden and Finland; a Nordic “family” showing the rivalry and cooperation between Finland and the other Nordic countries; a tribute to Lavatanssit, those magical summer outdoor dances; and additional emojis that show education, associations (as in cultural associations such as choirs), and the Finnish national bird, the swan (the little cygnets are cute – could swans be the new cats?)
